INGREDIENTS For the honey glaze: 1/4 cup butter, room temperature 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 cup honey 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder For the buns: 1-2 tablespoons oil 1 pound breakfast sausage, casings removed Salt and pepper to taste 1 roll of pizza dough (about a pound) 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese Chopped scallions for garnish INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a baking dish. In a bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, honey and mustard powder together. Set aside. Heat a large skillet, drizzle with a touch of oil, and cook breakfast sausage until brown. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside to cool slightly. Unroll pizza dough and, leaving about a 1/2-inch border, slather with 1/4 cup of the glaze, sprinkle with 1/2 cup of cheese, add sausage and another 1/2 cup of cheese.
